How it all started.

    My wife and I sold our home, bought a motor home, and decided to go out and make a living while enjoying life in the arts and crafts world. Little did we know what we were about to embark on.

    We were making wizards and dragons for craft shows. We managed to get into some shows. But, our stuff didn't sell in the craft shows. We were really down on our luck, wondering where our next meal was going to come from. We never knew if we could even afford to do a craft show, let alone the gas money to get there. Then we met our angel. She told us that we were in the right place at the right time. She said she had an opening at an art festival and wanted to see what we did.

    We drove over to her office and showed her our work. She liked what we did, so she let us in her show at the last minute (which evidently never happens in this type of business). After that year she said that we should be doing her Hoggtown Medieval Fair. That is where it all began for us. We sold more there than we ever dreamed! At the end of every show from that day forward, we have a little saying we always say at the end of the shows, "Thank you Lord; Thank you Linda".

    By being there, we were invited to do other fairs, and from that day on, it just kept getting better and better. By an angel giving us a chance to make a living.

    Since that time, we have managed to get another home, enjoy our hobby, meet great people, and even make a modest living.

    So to our angel: May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind always be at your back, and may goodness from the heavens above rain down upon you.
